Sunday Morning

Three programs are offered each Sunday morning from 9:45 to 10:45:

The Bible in Context (fomerly In Depth Bible Study) led by Peter Combes.  See Peter's The Bible in Context website for the schedule.  During 2007- 2008 the group is studying Acts.

Faith Trek:  A small group of CCPC adults who are curious about their faith and the world and want to explore in the company of a cirle of friends.  They will begin the 2007 -2008 year with a study of the short story, The Secret Sharer, by Joseph Conrad.   

Thoughtful Christians Discussions:  The 2007 - 2008 year will begin with two book studies led by CCPC members Jim Mullikan and Theda Bagdy:  The Language of God by Francis Collins considering the ethics of genome research and Listening for God by Flannery O'Connor, a collection of stories and essays from contemporary writers that reflect people's experience in dealing with life events and unexpected touches of grace.

Other Opportunities

A Year With The Bible.  Members are using a guide and reading the entire Bible over the course of 2007.

Wednesday Morning Bible Study.  Members meet from 10 - noon on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday to study a selected book for 6 to 10 sessions.  Galations will be studied during the fall of 2007. 

Thursday Evening Bible Study.  Members meet from 7:30 - 9 P.M. on the 1st and 3rd Thursday to study a selected book for 6 to 10 sessions.  Galations will be studied during the fall of 2007.
