 The Chevy Chase Concert Series

The Chevy Chase Concert Series

The Chevy Chase Concerts, began in the fall of 1971 as an important part of our outreach to the community. Now in its thirty-eighth season, these concerts feature sacred and classical music of a scope not usually possible in the context of a worship service: major works for chorus and orchestra, church operas, organ recitals, instrumental soloists and ensembles. In addition, the series has commissioned new works and offered local- and world-premieres.

These concerts are intended to help inspire performers and listeners alike with gratitude to God for the gift of music, and are offered admission-free as a gift to the entire community.  The Chevy Chase Concerts are entirely supported by the financial gifts of supporters and friends of the Concert Series.

All concerts are admission-free; donations gratefully accepted.
A reception to meet the artists and to greet one another takes place following each concert.
