Christmas is a very special time for us at CCPC. We gather together to celebrate the gift of Jesus Christ and we also demonstrate His love by giving to others. Below you will find service times for our Christmas Services/Events and ways you can tangibly practice God’s love during this season.

  JOIN US FOR DECK THE HALLS  Plan to join your church family (age 4 to 94!) as we Deck the Halls on  Friday evening, November 30!  The fun begins with dinner at  6:00 p.m. in Chadsey Hall  followed by creating Christmas decorations for the church’s light-filled tree, decorating cookies, sharing with others, singing carols, and enjoying being together. The cost of the evening is $8.00 for adults (age 12 and up) and $4.00 per child (age 4-11; younger children eat free). A nursery will be available for infants and young preschoolers. The evening will conclude by 8:30 p.m. Reservations are appreciated, but not required, though they help us know how to plan!    Click here to make a reservation            or call the church office.

On December 16th, all of our children are invited to be part of the presentation of the story of Christmas in the annual Christmas Pageant during the 9:15 a.m. worship service. K-5th grade will rehearse during the first part of Sunday School in Westminster Hall on December 2nd and December 9th. The primary, mandatory dress rehearsal for K-5th graders will be Saturday, December 15th from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 Noon in the Sanctuary. (4-year olds/Pre-K do not need to be present for the dress rehearsal, they will meet for costuming on the morning of the pageant.) Come be part of this memorable telling of the story of Jesus’ birth. This is an interactive service that is sure to be a joy to kids of all ages. The story this year will feature not only a donkey, but two sheep as well!

  DONATE WINTER JACKETS  CCPC is collecting winter gear to be distributed to those in need in our community. The cold weather has fully arrived and there are many who would benefit from a donation. We are especially in need of Winter coats & jackets, Hoodies & sweatpants Hats & gloves. Please bring your items to service on Sunday December 16th.

You’ll have lots of choices of gifts, including some new ones this year, and can pick a Christmas card and an insert describing the donation. Involve your kids! Save yourself a trip to the mall! We especially remember God’s great gift of love to us when he sent our Savior, Jesus Christ, to live among us. In response, we too are eager to give back to Him and spread that love. Part of our Christmas sharing as Presbyterians is the Christmas Joy Offering. The Christmas Joy Offering will be collected on Dec 9th, 2018.
