At Chevy Chase Presbyterian Church, we take seriously our commitment to learn and grow in God’s Word and in faith. We offer a variety of opportunities and classes for everyone, from our youngest disciples to those seeking more maturity and depth in their faith.

Can faith be made real to a child? Can a four-year-old minister to others? Can a third grader understand scripture? At the Chevy Chase Presbyterian Church, the answer is a resounding yes!

We take seriously the importance of learning and growing in God’s Word and in faith. We offer a full range of adult classes on Sunday morning, weekly Bible study groups, and seasonal workshops that enable adults to explore the Bible in depth and apply their faith in life. For all those seeking more maturity and depth in their faith – come grow with us

weekday nursery school

The Weekday Nursery School (WNS) is an integral part of the Christian education program at the Chevy Chase Presbyterian Church. We believe that young children learn best through hands-on experiences. Play is essential as the foundation for academic learning. We strive to provide opportunities for young children to explore the world around them by using developmentally appropriate materials. Seven bright and fully equipped classrooms and a wonderful play yard provide for lively conversations, opportunities for crafts, creative play, running, and climbing, plus a loving and understanding staff.

After School Program

The After-School Program (ASP) is part of the Chevy Chase Presbyterian Church’s ministry to children and families in the community. Since 1987, the ASP has been dedicated to providing a safe, caring and creative program to enrich the lives of more than 60 children in Pre-K through Fifth grade during their after-school hours. The program provides children with the opportunity to interact with adults and other children, enhancing social-emotional development, in a comfortable and loving atmosphere.

Throughout the year, the youth groups participate in other special activities as time and scheduling permit. Some of these events have included mission projects.
