  • I'm With the Band!

    Skip's on the Avenue, 5540 Connecticut Ave NW, Washington DC 20015

    Join CCPC friends at Skip's on the Avenue to hear the band Factory Reset, featuring our own Chris Ertz on drums!  They are a cover band that plays classic and alternative rock. They start at 8 PM but let's arrive before that to get settled. Grab dinner, dessert or a drink and enjoy some great music from one of CCPC's own!  RSVP below and we'll reserve some tables upstairs.

  • Bike Ride

    Saturday, November 15th at 10AM
    Candy Cane Ln Parking Lot

    Director of Music Julie Vidrick Evans is leading another bike ride, this time on Saturday Nov 15.  Meet at 10 AM at Candy Cane Ln parking lot. Wheels down at 10:20 AM.  Aprox 12 mile round-trip no-drop (no one left behind!) ride with possibility for lunch afterwards at Daily Dish.

  • Rock Creek Hikesgiving

    Saturday, November 29th at 1PM
    Rock Creek Park

    Come walk off the stuffing and join Chris and Linda Ertz for a fun post-Thanksgiving hike through Rock Creek Park!

    We'll tackle a scenic 3-mile loop with intermediate terrain, starting on the Western Ridge Trail, crossing the creek at Boulder Bridge, and returning via the Valley Trail. 

    📍 Meet at Picnic Grove #13 at 1:00 PM. There is a parking lot on the right as you come up Glover Rd from Military across from St John’s HS (see map below).

    🐾 Dogs welcome! We’ll have Raven.

    🌿 Kids may enjoy the Nature Center afterward, if it reopens by then.

    Bring water, sturdy shoes, and your holiday spirit. We’d love to see you there!
