Our 54th season concludes with Chancel Choir and handbell Choir performances.
For over 54 years Chevy Chase Concerts has offered admission-free concerts to the community because of a belief that music nourishes our minds and souls and speaks deeply to us in ways that words alone often cannot.
We have offered a wide variety of programs, primarily by professional musicians, the whole being supported entirely by donations from our church members and listening community as well as freewill offerings which are received at most concerts.
A Washington, D.C. institution, the annual Bach Marathon celebrates the music of Johann Sebastian Bach played by some of the area’s finest organists on the magnificent 3 manual, 50 rank, 2500 pipe, glass-encased Rieger tracker organ, built in 1975 and ideally suited to the music of Bach.
