Middle School Youth Group Christmas Party!
Each year, we join our friends from St. Mark Presbyterian Church for Montreat Youth Conference in early July. Next year, we’ll be going July 11-18th , 2026. Details below!

We offer Confirmation classes for those in 8th grade and above, usually in the winter and spring. Contact Pastor Adele for more info.

Montreat Youth Conference 2026!
WHO: Youth who have completed 8th-12th grade.
COST: $1000 (may be reduced based on what we raise this spring). We never want cost to be a reason not to participate. We have scholarship money available; email Pastor Adele if you’d like to learn more.
WHAT: Montreat Youth Conference affirms youth in their calling to be and to shape the church of Jesus Christ. Our desire is to help youth come to know and believe that they are the beloved of God and to be a place where authenticity, community, connection, and God’s truth thrive. We seek to be an inclusive space where each voice can be heard and where each heart can be molded; where change is invited, challenge is expected, and where all are embraced. Youth leave Montreat knowing that:
Their faith matters.
They are loved as they are.
They are part of a community of faith.
They are empowered to act for change in the world.
WHERE: Montreat Youth Conference is held at Montreat Conference Center in North Carolina, about 30 minutes from Asheville. We will be staying at Hickory Lodge which you can take a peek at here https://montreat.org/accommodations. We will be sharing Hickory with Saint Mark Presbyterian Church and possibly Darnestown Presbyterian Church and will be spending a lot of time with their youth groups while there.
TRANSPORTATION: We will be traveling together to Montreat as a youth group by taking the church van and additional vehicles.
ADDITIONAL COST: Food is included in the trip to Montreat, except for travel day meals, and any additional concessions youth might want to purchase on their own.
There will be a parent and youth information night for this trip in the Spring, so look out for that date, plus an additional youth meeting. Both are required.
